Thinking of Building a Biocube 14G

Sorry I'm posting like a crazy man on just the order. I'm just pretty pumped to have a tank again! So I canceled the order on the Koralia 240 and upgraded to a 425. I also got a Koralia deflector for the upgraded return pump. Now it's time to wait like a little kid waiting for christmas to come and constantly click on the tracking numbers. Blagh.

I'm sure they'll make it right just make sure they send you a shipping label to return it, I got the wrong item from newegg once and they tried to get me to ship it back on my dime until i yelled at them.

Yea, they already sent a reply and they will be shipping my pump with a return label asap. I'm not mad at them or anything, mistakes happen and it's not like it was super important or anything.

Right now I'm waiting for the tank and live sand which is shipping FedEx together. Thing is after living here for nearly a month I've never seen a FedEx vehicle. They are supposed to come today.

The salt came today UPS and I misread the description it turns out. I thought it was 55lbs but it's really 55 gallons, so 15 lbs for $35 shipped. I feel a little cheated but that was my mistake. Ah well, the closest town is nearly an hour away that has this stuff so I break even or ahead no matter what.

That is pricey on the salt, I know drfosters has Kent Reef and Instant Ocean 50 gallons both for about $15, 200gal box of Kent is $44. I usually get my salt from them cheaper then local places, no tax and free ship over $50.

I've had extremely poor luck with Instant Ocean Reef Crystals and I have no idea why. I've had really good luck with Red Sea Coral Pro so that's what I got, but I thought it was the larger bucket, ah well, live and learn I suppose.
