Theres a LFS here in Missouri that has just started seting up a 1200+ gallon aquarium that may want it. You can call them and ask at least, they are called Paradise Aquatics

called n they want $1000 and will buy mine for $200 lol

If worse comes to worse and you can't find a lfs that wants to take it, you could inquire to some local aquariums that have large saltwater displays. I don't know how much they would give you for it, if at all, but it's worth a shot for the animal's well being. It should be considered that by selling it to a fish store you are in a way condoning the selling of a fish that is too big for most peoples' tanks. I myself would be afraid it would end up in the wrong home. Just my 2 cents, I don't mean to critisize you, in fact I think you are making plenty good changes for your fish now. Just be careful of who ends up being responsible of the shark if you can. ~Angela

sea world will coem get it but wont pay but i know there it would betaken care of if thats my last resrt ill probably do that n i can oprolly get a lifetime pass or soemthing too lol im gettin rid of it cause i know deep down thats its wrong but its just cool to say i have a real live shark in my house u know? but i read what every says and i dont wanna do it to the poor fish anymore so im trying my best to get it to a better home befor eit does end up either dieing or gets hurt in the tank bein to big for it i think its the right choice

now as far as the nurse sahrks they should b eok right? any suggestions on them?

riso-chan where are you from in fl?

sharkguy, you are an excellent example of someone that takes the health and well being of your fish seriously. You have clearly weighed and researched your options, listened to our feedback and reacted in a positive way. I really admire the decision you are making! Good luck finding him (her?) a home!

Just remember $200 is better than nothing and they will take care of it in a large aquarium that many can see and learn to appretiate. Not many people will have the room they do to make such a purchase. They wont let anything happen to it for sure as they have the means to take good care.
