Yoyo loaches seem very pale at times, sometimes for a day and will go back to normal color, sometimes even for only a few hours. Maybe they get stressed when I put the light on? Sometimes I also hear one of them loudly biting toward the back of my tank at the surface near the cords and filters. Just was concerned since one died last week.

Anyone know if I could put some gold rams in my tank with the existing fish (listed in signature) It is not a planted tank. I do have plenty of nice hiding spots though.

Fish get pale or loose there color when they sleep ,

Example: When I turn the light on in my Piranha tank in the morning they are
almost colorless .

Yep, if pale, they are hungry or just waking up..

I agree with the above. I wouldn't add anything to that tank. 5 Angels is alot of fish, plus there may be problems eventually between them and the laches as there would be with Rams & loaches.
