hi, all!:hi: I was just wondering if my stocking plan is sound. I currently have my betta, blue, in my fully cycled tank and a load of hitchiker snails. I was thinking about adding the tetras now, then the pleco once the algea starts to grow.
(sigh) I know, I know.dorkfish said:Sounds like a plan to me. Just be sure to feed the pleco his veggies often(algae isn't enough in that small a tank).
zebra plecos rarely grow over 4 inches, and definetly not that big in a ten gallon. not all plecos are made alike, you know!fishyaddict said:A pleco in a 10 gallon?!?!? Not a very good idea IMHO...go with otto's. Pleco's grow to 24 inches and are poop factories, otto's stay under 2.5 inches. I have 3 otto's in my 20 gallon planted tank that get's direct sunlight and they do a awesome job of keeping it algae free.
