Call it a pet peeve I guess, but anyway.
The swim bladder is an organ in a fish that allows the fish to "float" at any depth in the tank.
A swim bladder infection or problem is what makes fish lose control of their boyancy and float randomly through the water.
So often i see someone say that a fish has swim bladder. Well yeah, all fish do. It's when the thing stops working right that the fish has issues.
I'll put it another way. A little kid complains that his ear hurts. Mom takes him to the doctor. The doctor says "Yeah, your son has ear." :duh: It's "ear infection."
