Did the cat break the glass frame??? That is a major leak/break!

The cat came afterward. This new site loads the pictures in the opposite order you upload them. I lost a lot of my shrimp but saved most of my fish. I was just sitting here and the back of the tank blew off. It has been an ugly mess to clean up though. I am really upset about my plants. My tank was so pretty.
That really sux, but grab a new (glass) tank and you'll have it back together soon enough. I've had a couple of 55's spring a leak over the years but never a complete panel blowout like that. At least you were there when it happened.
Acrylic tank? I thought those had a sealant basically melt the panes together. I thought those tanks were impossible to have a catastrophic failure on. I feel bad bro, hope you dont give up the hobby cuz of this. I'm sure the thought might cross some peoples minds.
