I have a olds alero (GM, its my work car) with 178,000 with no signs of slowing down, generally its not the car, its the maintenance.

JAY! for sure lol. and yes I agree on the maintnece is the key. Me or you could keep a yugo running for ever lol. But the normal, put gas in and go to "D" dont cut it with the american products anymore. I have a 87 celica and a 87 ranger its astonishing the things japs were doin and the quality.
