This really aggrivates me

Just to get philosophical for a minute...some people see their LFS as a their info source...LFS could easily tell someone - yeah, no problem...you can do things cheaply - and lots of people would trust them. It's like going to the doctor....you trust them to recommend needed tests, not to pad the tests they give you to make an extra buck. No telling if this guys LFS gave him inaccurate info.

looks like hes trying his best to save them at least.
Yeah, your right. I guess I judged too fast as we all can do sometimes.
I think the part that got to me was where he says "they are currently in a 10 gallon Jug". It just doesn't sound good to me I guess.

At least they are trying to get help from somewhere. Not everyone is lucky to have found at least 1 forum or some place to help them out with questions. :read:
I'm glad that I posted it here, just wish I would have done it in a better way. I really didn't want to offend anyone, but it did come across as very judgmental. :duh:

Hopefully it won't happen again. If I see something like this again I'll just point them in the right direction and hope for the best.

Thanks to anyone who wrote to them and to all those that have helped me as well....:worthy:

I was aggravated too...normal response! We care about critters! Hopefully we can help this guy get on track.

they should have learned somthing tho.

i hate when people call clownfish "nemofish" and blue tangs "doryfish".

and i hate when i was younger how employees at the LFS thought they had to tell me that saltwater fish cant go in fresh.
