Thoughts about the Yellow Tang

ok you can get a yellow tang in a 36 inch tank its the only tang that you could get away with it but that does not mean you ought to. the tang police are not going to knock on your door for it. however under no circumstances should you put a regal tang in there let alone with a yellow and please wait at least 6 months for your tank to mature

but on the other hand you are going to say well i am a good reefkeeper and i can more then likely get away with it. And in one way or another we all do this sort of silly thing no matter what the warnings including myself.so we will more then likely see you in the "help my tang is dieing post or " OMG I how do i get rid of my ich" thread do you want this advice now or later?

lol i was talkin about a 3 foot tank as i understand it 50 gallons = 36 inches 55 = 48 inches
as for your 90 good for you if its established it might get a bit cramped after a few years since regals can get a bit big but a 90 is not to bad though i would not do it.
but if its a 55 48/12/24 there is very little room for anything let alone two fish that need alot of room to swim and can get a bit aggressive when they are crowded. i would leave the tangs alone till you have a bigger tank and more experience.
