People have been recommening fish (well, commpanions) that will improve life for my mudskipper. the employee at the LFS told me about his turarium. It had an african mudskipper in with 3 indian muds, white clouds to clean uneaten food, fire bellied newts and a few others and the set-up and it was a perfect fit! he said that the white cloud minows were to help clean any uneaten foods in the water region. Also when I was picking the mudskipper up from the store, I was told that the day after I bought him and told the store to hold them, they added in 2 2" fire bellied newts and they got along with my mud fine for about week, then I picked him up. I got to hold them and now I am hocked! finally the fiddler crab. I was given a print off from one of the stores on brackish set-ups' and they recommommended it with muds. I looked into it and not to bad of an idea. before I get anything I will give the mudskipper 2 weeks and see how he adjusts by then.

Alright, what are your opinions on tankemates fror the White cloud minows? the fiddlers? the newts? dwarf mudskippers?

ladytrish just brought up ghost shrimp

you changed your avatar?. well, I though danios would be to active what would you recommend that is a mid to top dwelling fish that is very cheap. I don't expect to make it that brackish.1.010 tops.

you could get some mollies as they enjoy salt in their water and will do the job of the white clouds in cleaning up the uneaten food. i also believe they will do some scraping of algea off rocks.

i have kept mollies and they nip fins

why dont you get another mudskipper? i have heard that they do well in a species tank. just a suggestion

I have been thinking about that. I could order one and have it free with the garentte for the late gar. I have read that they can live together in surtain sized tanks, but it always only says "mudskipper". the indians variety only grows to about an inch, and is more compatible with eachother. IU will have to find several links supporting the idea for africans, specificlly. newts are not and Idea anymore, just something that caught my eye. so, I have the option of fiddlers and ghost shrimp. Archers Prefer land water set-ups right? I'll do some resarch
