Thoughts on filters for Shell dwellers?

I have all of them already. I have four AC minis, one 2215 and two 2217s. Unfortunately I lost all sponge filters too during the move.

All I was saying that there are some freshwater fish that get stressed out by flow. An AC 20 has 100 gph and it's too much for my sparkling gouramis.

I wasn't questioning the method, just that it isn't going to work in all situations.
