thread algae and dosing iron.

what is CSM+B ?

also known as plantex, plantex csm+b, micros, micros and iron...

you'll more than likely want:

kno3 - potassium nitrate
kh2po4 - potassium phosphate
plantex csm+b

and possibly k2so4 - potassium sulfate

check your gh also. if it's lower than 2dgh you'll definitely want barr's gh booster imo. (calcium and magnesium)

best place to get everything... www.aquariumfertilizer.com

or you can get them all local except gh booster (but you can make it if necessary) if you're willing to find them. the sticky in the planted section has a thread with all the product equivalents. the products are a little weird imo. one's a stump remover and another's an enema believe it or not... but they work!

you're welcome linda.

when I ran the GH and KH tests they both turned color after the first drop, well the second drop, you put one in and then count the next ones for the color change. I don't know what that's equivalent to but I know it's very low. I ordered seachem equillibrium to raise GH will that work? I have been adding 1 tsp baking soda but my pH this last week was 7.0 in both tanks, so I didn't have to add any. I need to start keeping logs on each tank, but I'm not very good with follow through.

you could have saved a bunch of money by ordering barrs gh booster from aquariumfertilizer.com.

if you can count out 10 mm of your tank water you can do the test the same way but divide your final number by 2 and that will give you your degrees of hardness, just more accurate.
