thumbs up for eBay LR!

Nice! Glad you had a good experience. This household loves eBay. :D

I got my Pinpoint monitors on there for cheaper than the commecial sites. Have any pics of the LR?

Did you get yours ground shipped? I am tempted to get some that I found, it looks great, and its well priced. Just wondering how some would do on the 1-6 day ship(mine would have to go half way across the country)

cool where u get from? what seller?

Hehe, so thats a really good question. I wanna find a good supplier online to avoid the costs around my city(crappy looking rock for more than 7 bucks a pound).

The seller is reefsupplies. The rock comes from oceanpro aquatics inc. I did the ground shipping (CA to IL) took about 5 days after being shipped. The rock I got looks just like the rock in the listing (not the top pic with all the growth but down in the listing there are more pics). It took a while to get the rock because it had to be harvested from the ocean and sent through customs and all that. It took almost 3 weeks from time of purchase to receive the rock but that was not a problem for me (not getting fish for a while yet). The rock came wrapped in wet newspaper and in a black bag in the box. I soaked it in a bucket and there were some bugs - like the little kind you might get in a box of food sitting in the pantry for too long :) They came right off in the water. I really am so pleased with the rock. I got some hawaiian base rock from the seller too which was $1 something a pound. That rock isn't so nice but works well as base rock. No hitchhikers that I've seen yet on any of the rock. They do say that there will be no mantis shrimps. I can post pics of the exact rocks I got if anyone is interested.

yes, post some pics please salty..

Hehe, yeah, I am seriously curious about high quality ebay rock, it seems like a great way to get some nice rock.
