Tiger Barb is missing an eye...

Fish business is fish business. There's nothing you can do about it unless the employees and owners can open their mind and choose to take this hobby seriously. Fish's welfare is not often one of the top priorities of typical local fish stores. Ask them for their refund/return policy if you haven't.

Oh Lawdy no, I never meant killing the poor fish!! Rehoming often works; some lfs will take healthy fish (for free), or good employees will know of someone who adopts fish . . . .

LoL Rosita. I love your avatar. I didn't think you meant killing any of the fish. I just don't find it easy to get rid of fish. The lfs won't take CAE back due to their aggression. I've had him for 9 months so their return policy won't work. I'm not going to get rid of him anyways. If I have to place him with other fish that will keep him in check, that's what I'll do. :)
