Tiger Barbs too aggressive for Rummynose Tetra?

So tiger barbs are okay with lemon tetras? I removed them from my community because they were harassing the lemons and harlequins. And I had a school of 9 TB's.

I cant think of any tetras tiger barbs would do well with...maybe exodons? LOL

Tiger barbs dont do well with most other fish except like barbs, IMO. Maybe some bottom dwellers. Maybe fast, regular finned danios?

You could if you got rid of the tiger barbs...

i dont know what yall are talking about. my green tiger barbs dont mess with any thing. they keep away from every one. i have had them in with tetras for a long long time with no problems at all. and my 3 red tail barbs do the same. i mean there is plenty for fish for them to pick on but they chose to pick on themselves. maybe its the combination of large fish with them. i dont know but they work great for me.

I'd heard similar things about bleeding heart tetras, but mine were excellent, gorgeous community fish. I had at least 6-7 and then never messed with anyone but themselves and not even with each other that much. Had males and females. Also, in planted tank with smaller fish and congo tetras.

Maybe I've been lucky, but I've had Blackskirt Tetras in with the Tiger Barbs
for at least a year and they completely ignore one another.

Of course, the fact that the TBs stay in the bottom third of the tank
and the Tetras in the middle half, may have something to do with this.
(Except at feeding time, that is). :)
