Wow. Sounds like my experience exactly. Out of 12, I have five left. Water params were fine throughout. Brought them home in shift of three or six.
Once they hit 5 though, I haven't lost one. Weird.
mine have always been hardy, i bought 4 and had them in a 10g planted tank.
