my tiger barbs tail got bite off will it grow back

I'd be more concerned with why his tail was bit off. I know destroyed fins will grow back but I'm not sure about an entire tail. Sorry I couldn't help more. The best help I can offer is find out why it happened. There may be an incompatibility issue with some fish in your tank.
