tiger datnoids..

As much as I hate to "go against the grain", I really do believe that the Indonesian and Thai breeds can both live under either FW or BW. I have never heard of the quadrifasciatus, unless it is the Silver tiger, which is not really called a Siamese Tiger fish, it has a different name that I can't remember (besides silver tiger).

thansk..

i keep him with my arowana.
they sometimes fight . but minor injuries only..
he seems to be the loser all the time though:)
doesn't bother my plecos and nichirs.

i keep him in freshwater tank..
btu sometimes i add a little bit of salt..

i have another one... a thin stripe thai tiger.

i had a new guinea tiger but sold it already:)

heres his tankmate :)

Hey i found this at pf net, it sheds some light on the topic. If it is valid, the quads are called four-barred tigerfish. It verifies my experience that the siamese TF does well in both conditions. Good pictures as well, check it out if you have time.

Terror- Nice aro, how much $? Like I said before, the agression is less if you have a green, which is evidently not your case. And yes, the aro will always win if it is an Asian adult (as it will with almost any other aquarium-size fish, with few exceptions).

thanks!

What grade red is it? It looks very healthy and from what I can tell has a good body shape - I would protect it if it is getting beat up. Can you get any more pics up? Full tank shot would be nice
