Tiger Salamander Help

i have a log cave il going to use and several pieces of driftwood...also should i put a piece of glass in it to make a water area of should i just use a large container?
 
I think it will be easier for you to keep the water clean by going with a large water dish.
 
ok also i have one of those in tank filters ill probably put in it to help out. so how often do i have to change out the water?
 
I'd change it every couple of days or as soon as your Tiger Sal gets it all dirty. It's always important to keep the water very clean when dealing with sensitive skinned amphibians. The only amphibian I have at the moment is a Pyxie Frog and I change his water every day.
 
well i just cleaned out my 20 gallon long and its now set up for larval tigers :D
