I'm almost finished with a fishless cycle....nitrates and nitrites are coming down, and all other reading look good.

My tank set up:
10 gallon tall
21W light
DIY CO2

Plants:
Java Fern
Christmas Moss
Riccia

I planted my tank 4 days ago. I ordered the plants online and the christmas moss came a little brown. I emailed the company and they said that can happen and it will bounce back in a few days. There has been little to no improvement. My question is, do I need fertilizers? After reading through the forum I was thinking of getting the Seachem product line. Then I read some more and was only going to get Seachem Flourish and Seachem Potassium. Then I read even more and thought maybe I should just wait and let the plants get established. So what do I do?? Also, what's a good light cycle.... 12 on 12 off??

Thanks for any advice!!

Give them a week or so to settle in before dosing anything.
Read the other post of yours for more info. on dosing.
For you at this time, it's a matter of test - dose - test - dose. Dose only when necessary.
Your will learn your tank's needs and it will become easier over time.
