Yes...
I was looking for the "Moon accident" scene.
"... ..Alexander visits the early 21st century while pieces of the moon are actually falling to earth, and in the far future, he sees chunks of the moon floating in the night sky."
I heard this experiment will put a crater in the Moon the size of 1/3 a football field. Some think the Moon is hollow. Why can't the just land an R/C rover and find the "water"?
I think we need to start going back to the moon. But that isn't going to ahppen till the next space race. Most likely contestants U.S. & China. Only countries with the money.
hrm... just forget the possibilites of space... i dont like that idea, but combating world hungar would be nice, except it might turn out like welfare... a big mess that people rely too much on! first you need to find a way to stop the civil wars that cause world hungar!
"The SUV-size probe will crash into one of the permanently shadowed craters located near the moon's south pole."
Just make sure that baby doesn't roll over. :
It'll be a while before we get back to the moon, as others have said on this thread. Just too expensive...the cost per pound of cargo transported to a lunar site is staggering.
Still, projects like these serve as good feasibility studies of sorts.
