No still sitting dry. Apparently, you need money and time do put these things together. Wish someone would have told me that .
Currently have the tank, custom stand, sump, 2 Kessil A360Ws, Apex Lite controller, and 1 bag of sand. Still need baffles, larger return pump, more sand and more rock.
The other interesting twist is that I now am the owner of a blue carpet anemone which is something I tried before unfortunately lost. This one has been in captivity for a while so I have high hopes. It is currently light acclimating to my 40B lights with some window screen over the tank.
Attempt at video embed (I can never do this for some reason).
never mind. I give up on videos. Anyway the concern I have now about the upgrade is moving a carpet to a new tank. Wasn't concerned about moving everything over but now I will likely have to have 2 tanks up for a while at least.
Sounds like you have good head start on the equipment. You are right about needing time and money.
The blue carpet anemone is beautiful! I hope it does very well in your tank. Have your clown fish found it yet? When i moved all the live stock over to my new tank the clown fish seemed to have lost the three bubble tips... i hope that they host in them again.

Me too. The female has done a few drive bys but has not jumped in yet. She wont let the male anywhere near it. She isn't doing it aggressively either. It's like she is telling him that its got a potent sting and to stay away until she figures it out. I plan on this carpet and at least one more in the new tank. Will still have a few corals but the tank will be designed for the carpets and the clowns. Whatever isn't happy in the conditions that are best for them, will get traded. This is what drew me to the hobby in the first place and I have put it off long enough.
I have found myself lurking in the cichlids forums lately. I used to have a 180 with a school of firecracker tropheus that I loved. Some the aquascapes that those guys have in that forum are spectacular!
