Time to Upgrade!

I'm putting primer on the skinned stand now. Then matt black paint and a coat or two of clear finish on. The wife will do that part as she is great at painting and details.

Now all I have to do is put on the trim and paint the outside of the stand black.

Oh, I forgot to mention that last weekend my air conditioner went out... on a 118 degree day... it was out for 14 hours. Inside my house it was 96 degrees. I put bags of ice and had fans blowing into the sump. The tank temp got up to 84 degrees. Everything pulled through just fine.
 
Glad to hear it. My AC went out a few weeks ago, for about 20 hours. Luckily, it was only 105 that day, but it was 115 just 4 days later. Thanks to wonderful insulation, my 55 only got up to 84 from the 80 it's normally at.
