Timer question

I have my light timer with ground plugged into the wall. I have it ready to go off soon. Will it affect my satellite receiver that is plugged into the same outlet right below it?

It has all these little pins. I hope I did it right.

It shouldn't. Timer only effects the outlet it is plugged into.

if its not plugged into the timer it wont effect it.

Okay. I'm staring at the tank waiting for it to go off. This will give the tank 10 hours of light.
