Tinfoil Barbs and African Dwarf Frogs

A friend is getting rid of his last Tinfoil Barb and I am thinking about taking it.
My only concern is that the Barb will munch on my ADF's. Anyone haveany experience with this mix?

I've seen small adult tinfoil barbs munch on a typical size rosy red minnow at a LFS...so I would use some caution at least.

Are you getting a bigger tank? Barbs get to 14" and grow a lot faster thank clowns.

I am probably not getting a bigger tank for about a year. Then I'll probably pick one up in the 100 gal range. The Barb is about 4 inches right now. Think the current situation will be okay?

If I don't take him - my friend is just going to euthanize him.

Like Ruben said it might eat your adf's, but what was witnessed in the lfs was probably encouraged by hunger. A 4 inch tinfoil barb is close to the size where it might pick at an adf if it is really hungry. If you are sure that it is well fed, I would try it but watch for the first thirty minutes. I've had 12 inch tinfoil barbs in tanks with 1 inch tetras without problems but I've also seen hungry 2 inch tinfoil barbs tear into tetras at the lfs.
