Tiny air bubbles suspended in water

I have a 75 gal. tank with 10 Gold Tetras, 2 Bala Sharks, 5 Lemon Tetras, a pr a German Blue Rams, 5 Tiger Barbs, 3 Rasboras and an Oto. All water params are good and I do 40% changes every week. I feed only a small amount every day and sometimes miss a day so I am not overfeeding.

I have noticed what seems like tiny air bubbles suspended in my water. On closer inspection (with strong magnifying glass) they look very much like teenie tiny air bubbles. They are just suspended in the water circulating with the flow and don't seem to ever float to the top and just burst like you would think they should.

Just wondering what it could be and how to get rid of it.

Sorry can't get a pic as these things are very tiny.

What kind of filtration are you using and where is your water level in reationship to the discharge of those filters?

Thank you for responding so quick to my question.

I have a magnum 350 with 2 the bio wheels the water level is right just past the plastic frame so you can't see the level.Actually the water is maintained at the point it touches the chute lip on the bio wheels discharge so it doesn't make dripping noise.
I didn't like the discharge head that came with this filter so I just put a short piece of extra hose instead and cut it off at about 3" under water level, it doesn't make any noise either. There is a good amount of flow through here and what is going to the bio wheels.
I also have a 12" air diffuser, ya know one of the air stone things but sorta like a flexible tube.

I get that in my tank sometimes, their like little bubbles that float around but don't burst? Almost like it's plastic bubble floating around? I get that after filling up my tank from a water change sometimes.
 
kswords, that is a problem when doing water changes. you arent disrupting the gasses in the water and may cause the fish to get the human equivalent of the bends( high nitrogen levels). at a fish convention, they had an expert speak. i can get you his name since he is popular in the hobby and has written many books on the subject. next time you add water to the tank, let the water splash something on the way in. dont let the water flow in calmly, rather you should disturb the water flow so that toxic gasses are removed.

I totally did not know that. I just did a water change and I was careful to avoid splashing, feeling proud that the water went in so silently. I'll change that now!
 
I know what you are talking about with the bubbles after adding new water. The bubbles clinging to the glass and decorations and everything.

Actually for me the bubbles are almost non existent right after my weekly changes.
They seem to be more and more of them as the week wears on. Almost a like a snowstorm of bubbles, the kind of action you see in those Christmas scenes you shake with the water and snow.

Air Stone/Diffuser

I posted the thread yesterday as I was doing my water change so there are not really any bubbles at the moment. Everything looks really good in fact as it always does after wc.

The diffuser; I just turned it off.
I don't know if I want to leave it off for too long. Don't the fish need the oxygen it provides? And since there are not really any bubbles at the moment I think it's a moot point.

Hmmmm, since the bubbles are not there after a H2O change and the air diffuser is on all the time...... Why would the diffuser not cause them all the time?
I thought something may be building up in the water to cause these bubbles to hold and circulate in the water column more when it gets close to weekly wc.

It's not a biggie, I mean the fishes seem happy and healthy. So maybe I will do wc more than 1 time a week.
