I went hunting around for oddball CL's yesterday (found 2 four-stripers!) but at one pet shop I saw the tiniest loaches I have ever seen! These clowns were less than 1 centimetre from tip of nose to end of tail!

I couldn't believe the size of them!

Are you sure these are Chromobotia macracanthus? I see an influx of loaches at an inch size lately. They will need plenty of feedings in a day and this can be a PITA to the aquarist. Look over Turboschistura arakanensis and see if it could also be that.

I saw extremely tiny clowns recently too. Maybe 1/2 inch total length. Made me sad, some looked skinny. Probably not too many will survive long term.

I won't be surprised if someone reckons they can be kept in a bowl thinking they're only dwarf specimens or will never grow, not to mention at that size, they need plenty of feedings.:(
