Found worms in my tank today from where I over fed my shrimp.
These things sprang up like weeds overnight.
I think their nematodes, but they could be planaria.
They will be taken care of today, its "cleaning day".

Just thought I'd share some pics i took of them through my Tasco 900x zoom M900ZF Microscope that I have had since I was very little. My digital camra was just able to focus on the slide so it only took a small square picture. Really Neat! :dance

Excellent picture!

I bought myself a "toy" microscope (Digital Blue QX3+) that hooks up to the computer. All the viewing is through the computer and you can take movies and stills... but, the down side is it only goes to 200x.

I was wondering HOW you got that picture. Any nematodes I have found thrash about so much that a still like that at a higher resolution would be nearly impossible.

I'm attaching a copy of one of my pics of a nematode at 200x. Even still, both his ends were moving so much, they are a bit blurry.
