Tips for shipping plants?

I wrap my plants in filter floss and a little aquarium water then it goes into a ziplock. If its going in a box I leave all the air I can for cushion.

I got some Riccia like this and was really, really, annoyed trying to extract the plant. It didn't help that there was some filament-like green algae involved as well.

Probably not a problem with smoother plants, but still...

I definitely wouldn't recommend my style for anything thin and fragile. Paper towels are the best for that.

On a side note. I would never send any floaters completely wet. Generally the tops of the leaves are dry and I notice that when the top gets submerged it tends to deteriorate fast.

Lets have some ideas on how to ship those.....
