Here is a question from you all, as it seems many of you have been whining to OG about me, and she has in a round about way threatend to ban me if I don't start sugar coating things for those of you who can't take a blunt honest anwser. Not that I really care too much....so here's some fun....

To ban me or not to ban me? Vote, add a comment, etc. You guys know the drill.
 
I voted no because you really know your stuff.
I will admit though sometimes you can be a little bit on the snappy side. :dance:

After reading some of your posts I would have to say that blunt is not the way I would classify some of your answers to questions. Your phrasing can be quite rude.

I will be the first to say that some posters can be very frustrating by not listening to advice, reposting questions, not giving enough information, etc. However, I see no reason why those posters can't be answered with a littled bit of tolerance. If you cannot muster the patience to be pleasant, don't respond. It will do little good to vent your frustrations on someone in a post.

As to your poll, its of little use and a bit 7th grade in my opinion so I chose not to vote.
 
I don't see why you need to be banned? Sure I saw a misunderstanding in a thread or two but why ban someone who is a contributing member? I'm sure there is someone else that causes more problems than you. There are some real keyboard warriors on these forums. I know that you've helped me before with a simple question and I got nothing rude from it.


IMO you can't ban someone on personality and as said above people that post here can be frustrating, especially someone who doesn't see a fish as anymore than something you can flush in a toilet. That's why I try to only use these forums for search functions and leave the rest.

There are a lot of knowledgeable people on the various boards I frequent, and many of them are mature enough to be calm and tactful when they post. If I were new and confused, I would be more likely to stay and listen to someone who wasn't replying in an abrasive, snotty manner. Call it sugar coating if you will, some just call it being polite.

I find it interesting that you have options for the mods filtering or editing your posts, but none for you altering your style to be less abrasive. People would get the benefit of your knowledge, but not have to deal with the attitude. Just a thought.
 
u shouldnt be banned if they dont like u tell em not to read your posts
