Found a 120 gallon, with stand, lights (basic lights), and maybe some filters...for $140-$150. Craig's List. :) However, the cross bar needs to be re-siliconed.

Buy it? Pass on it?

Thanks

I wish that could even be an option for me! I think 55g is the biggest I could get away with and I think that would have to be after my son moves out hehe.

Anyhow, if you are confident that you could fix it and all it will take is a bit of silicone and you have room for it, I'd go for it. Might even be able to talk them down a bit since it needs repairs.

Oh, I forgot to mention... I'm going to be reselling it. :)

depends on what kind of filter?.... cuz if you bought it on craigslist.. and your looking to re- sell it, it'd probably have to come with a good canister filter...

i got my 150gal off of craigslist for only $75.00 cuz i talked the guy down, so you wouldn't want this happing to you.. lol..but if comes with a good canister filter, than i say go for it.. if not... then im unsure what advice to give...

Depending of the "maybe filters".... i'd say if they got some goods in addition to the tank, you should definately do it, even for the $140

but i dont know how much you'll actually make reselling it.
