To those with 2.5 gallon tanks...

Here's my 2 gallon betta tank:

2.5 planted nano...Endlers, killies and cherry shrimp. Love bettas, but I like my shrimp even more!

Rowangel. Amazing. Really looks so good. What kind of filter is that you have, and do you have a heater in there somewhere? Im looking at what options I have for a small external filter, but Im struggling to find anything.

Moved some things around, added a sword and some java moss for Blue. So far he seems pretty happy. Things look a little weird - just did a water change so things are still "settling" after all the java moss movement.

Once the new filter that I ordered comes in, I'll probably plant another sword on the opposite side since I'll have more room :)

I love those little MiniBows. I have a 2.5 gal Neptune Blueone myself that is now my guppy fry tank. I had the adult guppies in there before I actually learned about the fish and their tank needs.
I love the way you've painted and planted it. What kind of paint did you use? I've been thinking about it but weary of spray paint.
Probably will fill the thing with java moss to give the little buggers some hidding space after I get moved back to school for the quarter. Beautiful job and fish.

Thanks.
I used acrylic paint and just painted it on with a brush. It had great coverage, only issue I'm having now is that I should have put two coats instead of one. I have a couple of scratches from my water change and moving the filter and heater.

I got a lot of great feedback over at AF, I'm going to move the sword out and plant a less intrusive plant or two..or three..etc etc and remove the silk fakies once my new filter comes in.

Thanks! I use the Red Sea Nano filter and it works well. I put nylon on the intake so not to suck up little shrimp and as long as you clean that once a week it should have no problems. No filter at this time, but the light produces lots of heat and it is in my living room, the most regulated room in the house, so far no issues with temp.
