toad?

so i get home from class today and my moms flipping out about an alien on the back deck...
she said she was staining the deck and she turned around and saw this sitting on the arm of a chair. she thought maybe it was fake since it hasnt moved in a while.
i took some pictures and then touched it with a straw, and it was real. it moved a bit but stayed in the same position.

how did it get up there?
currently, its pretty warm here, and its in direct sunlight.

so if anyone knows what this is, let me know!

yup gray tree frog.. i had tons of them around my house this year.. keep a couple.. pretty awesome frogs if you ask me.
