I am a youth pastor, and a few days ago I took a road trip with one of our adult volunteers in the ministry. He owns a produce company, and had to do a little trucking, so I went along with him. While we were on our little journey, he told me that for Christmas, he was close to buying me a 150 gallon tank!!! He had one picked out, but then decided not to do it because he was worried about the extra expense I would have to invest in getting it set up. It was very thoughtful of him to not want me to have to spend money (in all reality he's absolutely right, I dont need to spend the $$$ right now), but I think it could have been the motivation I needed to set up an AWESOME tank. Too bad!

But hey, there's always next year ;)

I would just be surprised that someone was willing to spend so much money on a new aquarium for me. You must be loved man. Very loved. 150 gallons is a huge tank and alot of money for just the tank itself. I would just count my blessings with the thought alone.
 
It was a very nice thought that this person thought so much of you that he would want to buy this for you. I would say that if it is the right time in your life to have something like that, then it will happen. You will just have to be patient.

don't worry about it too much... he knew you wouldn't want to spend the extra money, and you said yourself you didn't have $$$ to spend right now so don't sweat it too much. making a nice 150G tank could cost at least a few hundred dollars.
