Yeah, I was sad when I read a similar article in the paper today.
I definitely think that hurting animals was not what Steve Irwin would want or advocate for.

That was my first thought as well. If people knew enough of Steve to feel moved to take revenge, they would know right away it's not what Steve would want. The fact that the tails were cut off makes me think poachers.
