Too late for plants?

Well, it never seems like a bad idea to network a little.

If you know where Fin n Feather is at, in Eureka, they have a fair assortment of plants, although I have never looked that thoroughly before. A friend of mine who has been keeping planted tanks for some time likes their selection.

Anyway, there you have it.

I'm lucky enough tolive on the coast, and drift wood is extremely easy to come by. I just came from the beach and now some nice looking pieces soaking in the backyard. They were pretty waterlogged already, but still float, so i guess I'll just have to be patient. A question about steralizing the wood. I have heard some bleach in the water is helpful in killing anythingI don't want in my tank. And then rinse and toroughly soak more, rinse and repeat.

Is this correct?

I put sand in my new tank also but I put flourite down first. Then I CAREFULLY planted my plants. It worked great, I am just careful not to disturb the roots much.
