Too much flow?

So I've got an empty 55 gallon tank setup, and I'm wanting to stock some freshwater fish. Right now I've got 2 Penguin 350's and my question is...

Is my flow rate to high for most fish? I'm up for fish that can stand a higher current or I can take on of the filters off (it just seemed like there wasn't enough movement on the other side of the tank!).

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Get some Rainbow Shiners. I kept a school in a 30 gal tank with a SEIO 2600 powerhead running. That's 2600 gph. It was like a Jacuzzi and the fish loved to play in the current!

The 2 "Penguins" would not be too much flow in a 55.

It is only 700 GPH for 2 penguins. You need to run at LEAST 550 GPH for a 55 gallon tank, so you are in about the right range. Now 3 of them might be a little too much!
