I am starting a 29 gal nano, I ordered a Metal Halide/Power Compact fixture 380 watts. [FONT=verdana, arial] 1x 250W DE HQI, 2x 65W Compact Fluorescent, is this too much light? Is there any coral I should stay away from? Thanks :newbie:

You'll be fine. Keep the bulbs 8-14 inch from the water surface and anything that prefers a lower light can be placed in areas shaded a bit by the rock work. I've found that zoas that thrive under low lights for people do great under my MHs even near the top.

Great thanks, I was going to get some basic lights for low light corals but then I got these and thought I may have gone too far.
