I have a 25gal tank with the amiracle sl-5 hang on filter with skimmer.I just purchased a CSL moonlite unit with 2 65w power compacts for a total of 130w.This gives me 5.2w per gallon. My question is ,could this be too much light .I'm planning on adding some sps and i know they need a little higher light than some of my other corals(colony polyp, asstd mushrooms and a few leathers)I dont want to stress the ones already in the tank or "fry" them. Will they be ok?By the way, the moonlight in the fixture is awesome and my serpent stars scramble out from their hiding places to sift through the sand.I have noticed a significant increase in tank activity with the moons on rather than off.Plus they put a really nice shimmering effect on the rock and sand.Really like the fixture and hope it is ok.Thanks for all the help.
