ewwww...I will just dive right into my tanks, try not to make too much of a disturbance, and then I HAVE to wash my hands afterwards...all that fish poo and bacteria, and ammonia...lol...no thank you!

Hey Caitxsith, I like the before picture but that is just me. Please wash your hands after playing in tanks. You can catch diseases from your tank that if left untreated you will wind up in the hospital.

my tanks are clean, my fish are healthy. i don't wash my hands after i pet my cats either. no big deal.

fish tuberculosis is contagious to humans (but not vice-versa).

I don't want to scare anyone but I thought I read somewhere that you can catch some form of TB if your fish have it. Although it is rare I believe that they said it does happen. Wash your hands very well after having your hands in the fish tank.

yes, but rare. probably just as likely to get it from person-to-person contact in an area where they don't test for it anymore as from fish. plus, only contagious through open wounds or cuts.
