Took on a disaster

just out of curiosity, how big are these huge fish in inches? one mans huge is another man's tiny.

Depending on how poor their health is, fishstores might turn them away. Same if they're just too big (many LFS won't take large plecos because they're so hard to find proper homes for). Do a google search and join as many fish forums as possible and try to rehome them that way. I'm sure if you joined MFK and put an ad there, some of the larger fish could get into a proper home. I know quite a few people on this board in the coldwater section who would be happy to help rehome the goldie.
By taking this tank and taking in these fish, you've brought it upon yourself to be responsible for the continued well being of these fish. Admirable, absolutely. Time consuming, most definitely. But also very rewarding in the end.

The biggest pleco is about a foot long. The two smaller ones are about 8 or 9 inches. The bala is 6 inches. the body of the angel is the size of the palm of my hand. The goldfish isn't actually that big for a goldfish, slightly bigger than the angel.

A local nursery has a huge pond. The owner said she will take the goldfish, work on slowly acclimating it to normal temps while quarantining it. A friend father has a 130 gallon tank with one angel and a school of giant danios. She is going to talk to him about one of the plecos.

Man, the plecos are going to town on the bottom feeder pellets and zucchini I gave them!
 
glad they are eating well. the angel is about normal size for an adult, ime and should be easy to find a home for(or you could keep it, i bet it's a beauty) it will be the plecs that are hard to find homes for. i agree with the people who suggest listing them on mfk. might be a good idea to just charge shipping.

Didn't think of MFK. Thanks! I'd even cover shipping to see them go to a good home.
 
I took some pictures of one of the plecos. Does it just look like a common pleco?
