That's the point. Because they stay small, it's possible to have a small school even though his tank is pretty full. Mine do school, even though there are only three.
I had a small school of longfin pearl danios and I found that they stayed mid-level to bottom most all the time. They really only came up top for food.
Killie fish are often overlooked but they make an awesome top water fish...and you don't have to purchase a school of them like you do with hatchets. They are fine alone or in pairs. Doesn't get much prettier than a male Killie either...
I've seen killies only once, last year in one store. Maybe I have been unlucky. They sound like pretty much exactly what I was looking for.
Anyways, for the moment, there is some showing off between the Gourami and the Borellis, but they all seem more than able to handle it. there is lots of space, lots of plants... Is it just me: the Rasboras look really redder since that little honey dude got in there...
I've found that our gourami spend more time at the top of the tank since we've added some floating plant... I think it's water sprite. It's a gourami magnet.
