OK my tank just all of a sudden went from "pretty good" to "Twilight Zone." First my fish all traded jobs (the gouramis eat algae now, and the SAEs accept only flake food), then I had a huge algae bloom (brown algae... yuk), and then my plants just went FLOP. I'm suspecting snails, which means the clown loach is fired, but I can't see any. I sat in front of the tank for EVER trying to see the suckers, but they just aren't there. I have, however, seen tracks in the moisture on the glass above the waterline that look like the slug tracks back home. So I'm guessing snails, or slugs... are there aquarium slugs? The plants are getting destroyed, especially my lotus! It looks like something whipped it, or crunched up the leaves. They're just deteriorating before my eyes, and I can't find the culprit. :sad I don't think any of the fish are doing it, but I can't find any snails anywhere, and I don't want to just throw snail-killer in there willy-nilly. Can anyone help me? Thanks!
