i think i've decided to go slowly ordering from saltwaterfish.com. they have free shipping and the prices seem great. think i'll start with about 10 crabs and 10 snails. probably will get a shrimp too, i'm leaning towards a cleaner shrimp...

That sounds good for now. I know they have a $79 minimum on their orders in addition to a processing fee (hence the "free" shipping).
Not to discourage you from ordering there (I like the site myself) but have you checked any LFS near you? They might have better prices, you won't need a minimum, and they won't have to be shipped to you. Just a thought.
I order livestock online all the time. I check my LFS first for availability and prices first. Sometimes you just never know!

Whats up guys ... I ordered my "cleaning crew" from saltwaterfish.com. I got 20 blueleg hermits 10 jade hermits, 10 Nas snails, 10 turbo snails, 1 cleaner clam, 5 shaving brush trees, 3 emerald crabs ... everything was $116.00
There was a 9.99 processing fee and a 9.99 fuel surcharge(gas is expensive they said.... whatever.) Also they sent way more than I paid for. An extra few snails of each ... an extra brush tree, and an extra few hermits.
I got everything this morning at 8am and aclimated everything great. There was nothing dead and they are all happy little guys in the tank.
So thumbs up for saltwater fish.com.

That's good to hear! I've been thinking about ordering a fish from there. Did you happen to talk to their customer service people at all?
Didn't get to talk to anyone really. Just placed my order online on Monday night after 6 pm and everything arrived thursday morning. I would definatley order fish from there when I get back from Italy in May.
