Totino's, Jeno's Frozen Pizzas Recalled for Possible E. Coli Contamination

Thursday, November 01, 2007

MINNEAPOLIS — General Mills says it is recalling some frozen pizzas sold under the Totino's and Jeno's label because of possible E. coli contamination.
The company says the problem may stem from pepperoni produced at an Ohio plant. General Mills says state and federal authorities have been investigating 21 E. coli illnesses in 10 states.
Nine of those 21 people reported eating Totino's or Jeno's pizza with pepperoni topping at some point before becoming ill.
Symptoms of E. coli can include stomach cramps and diarrhea. People typically are ill for two to five days but can develop complications including kidney failure.

I eat those totinos on a daily basis... maybe that's what's wrong with me. :p

seriously, cook em good. :) i do.

You know thats what prompted me in how to learn to cook.. I love my mother dearly but the woman couldn't cook food. She was great at anything sweet but roasts, hamburger the essentials.. yuck.. Again I love her but she can't cook.

BTW thanks Neo for posting this.. I have emailed some younger guys that work for me.. They eat this stuff a ton.
