the bottom is a coffin, no?
Quite possibly.... :(

Someone may have mentioned they came in from Japan, but I'm not sure..

Saw that yesterday on AOL. The article I read indicated that the company buys mass toys to put in the bags, without seeing them first. They were simply discribed as "a flying toy" to them. As soon as they realized what happened, they pulled them and demanded replacements...so I read.

Well, I suppose the small "toy" could "get by" a large supplier, but I doubt they have very large amounts of product volume.. Nothing will happen with this issue, but it makes you wonder...

On another note, and rather odd, remember in the movie Independence Day, where they show the laptop "count down" with 911 boldly displayed?

If you read the end of the article it says that

"the importer of the toy, L&M Import and Export refused to comment. But, they told Channel 9 they didn't think it was a big deal, saying they consider it just a toy for children and don't think it's inappropriate."

Lisy corp bought the toy from them.

that is the follow up story but they don't list who or how to get in touch with L&M. Maybe if you write to the news they can give you the information.

They also mention in the follow up story that the toy they saw was a man swinging on a swing between the towers not an airplane so they were mislead by L&M also.

BTW--definately a coffin
