trapdoor snail question

I bought 8 at my LFS saturday and by saturday night they already had 1 baby. How often do they have a baby? thanks for any replies to this.

They have a relatively long gestation, but are livebearers. What size are they? Generally the adults won't have more than 2 young a year.

they are about the size of a large walnut.

Mine gave birth about twice a year, about ten or so babies each time. Always had a hard time getting the young ones to survive though, they don't seem to be very good at getting to food.

up to 8 babies so far guess i bought these at a good time to get 8 babies in 2 days.

well i am up to 13 babies as of tonight not sure which one or ones are having them but i assume its not just one snail having babies.
