Today I noticed one of my cories had a large injury where its pectoral fin meets the body (not sure how or when it got there, they always hide behind my plants, I rarely see them), and the whole under side of his belly was covered in fungus. I have started treatment on him, basically according to the article here. I had an oto die about a month ago from a similar injury to its head.

I am curious, how many people have success treating fish with this or any other injury/disease in general?

Depends on what it is... Ich, mostly successful, but had two clown loach casualties from it once. Bacterial infections, wouldn't wish them on my worst enemy, 100% casualties to sick fish ratio. Injuries, 100% success rate no casualties. I use Melafix/Pimafix combo for that. Hope that's what you were asking. I'm tired.
Take care,
Mary.
