Hi all,
I've got a rectangular trigger wrecking havoc with my DSB and live rock. The little dude seems to like to blow the sand all over the rock so now my waterscape looks like the beach on a windy day. I'm thinking about changing over to crushed coral to alleviate this problem...Is there any problems I should be aware of before I do this??? I am a believer in the DSB method but under the circumstances, this seems to be the only solution.

That's awesome that you would change your whole set up for one fish.
That is responsible ,dedicated husbandry.
Hats off to you.
You can switch to wet/dry.

Be advised, with the trigger in there, your live rock will soon be dead rock anyway. You could rotate some of the LR into a sump/fuge.

Triggers will eat many if not all of the encrusting inverts/molluscs etc. which make the rock "alive"... some will even go as far as flipping rocks and moving things around to get the critters underneath.
