Trimac

Facts are facts Flowerhorns are found in most lfs usally a lower grade and Trimacs are rare at the lfs to get one that is 100% you will more than likley have to order it.

BTW you cant get a "HIGH GRADE" flower horn for $20.00 for a good breed from high quality parents you will still spend upwards of 50.00 for a 2" one and around 4" would be 100-400 and you will more than likley have to order it from singapore.

it's easy to find if you look for em.. Like jeff rapps for example.. He's right there if you cant find none around.. Isnt that easy?

Again, no. Jeff hasn't had these in stock for quite a long time. Also, shipping to the west coast from his location can be a bit pricey, so it's not that easy for me and the rest of the states outside of the east coast.

I would also recommend pure breeds over hybrids. The cross-breds are more susceptible to terminal illnesses than their pure-bred counterparts. Through my experience, trimacs are one of the most pugnacious cichlids I've kept. I think flowerhorns have a more tranquil attitude.
